"Outlander" stars Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe recently took to Twitter in order to raise awareness for childhood cancers.
In honor of World Cancer Day on Feb. 4, Balfe urged her fans to raise awareness for cancer and to support the charity World Child Cancer.
She also posted an image that showed the actress had written "we can, I can" on her left palm and "let's even the odds" on her right palm."

Heughan also showed his support for cancer awareness by chatting with a young woman named Amy Carmichael and her story inspired Hueghan's My Peak Challenge campaign.
According to the official site, Heughan, The Box magazine, Bear Street Clothing and Fight Camp Glasglow's John Valbonesi started My Peak Challenge as a way to help raise money for a leukemia and lymphoma charity called Bloodwise.
The campaign encourages participants to "reach their peak" by reaching personal fitness goals and learning a new skill, all while helping a good cause.
Heughan posted his interview with Amy on Twitter and was clearly moved by the young girl's story of how she battled blood cancer.
Aside from raising support for World Cancer Day, "Megadeth" star Dave Mustaine recently admitted that he wrote a song inspired by Heughan.
