Drita D'Avanzo is remembering her dear friend.
Drita has starred on the popular VH1 reality series "Mob Wives" since the first season began in 2011, but, during a recent interview with Us Weekly, she revealed she is happy the show has ended.
Drita first said she was relieved the show has ended, because she would not have wanted to be a part of the cast without Angela "Big Ang" Raiola, who passed away last month from stage IV brain and lung cancer.
"In a way, I'm really happy 'Mob Wives' has ended. I would never, ever have come back without Ang being there," Drita revealed.
Drita then went on to share some of her favorite memories of Ang and even revealed that Ang was the only person she considered a friend on "Mob Wives," which recently aired its series finale.
"I'm usually the one that makes all my friends laugh, but Ang was the one that used to make me laugh," Drita explained. "She would just bring light to a terrible situation, in my eyes. And it wasn't just for TV, it wasn't to take Instagram pictures. We just had a great friendship. ... She was my only true friend on 'Mob Wives.'"
Since Ang passed away, Drita has made it no secret how important Ang was to her. On the day of Ang's death, Drita shared a special Instagram post, where she said she will never forget her good friend.
"I will see you again one day my friend...I will miss every minute of u until then. I love you. #RIPAngela," Drita captioned the post.
The final season of "Mob Wives" ends Wednesday, Mar. 16, at 8 p.m. with a reunion special, titled "Reunion: The Final Sitdown."
