When it comes to bringing excitement to the game of tennis, Serena Williams never disappoints—in either her playing or what she wears. A big fashion lover, she has sported some really inventive—a little outrageous even (but in a good way)—looks. Gladiator tennis shoes? Check. A "denim" mini skirt? Yes.
And for the Australian Open, currently in swing, the champion gave spectators something to talk about once again: a brilliant yellow crop-top and plated skirt she designed for Nike (and you can shop it for yourself here!).
Her inspiration? '"A lot of things you see on stage and, you know, just in that pop culture world, I wanted to bring that youth and that fun-ness to it," she said.
