"Arrow" star Stephen Amell recently confirmed that Oliver Queen and Felicity Smoak are going to end their engagement in an upcoming episode.
According to Comic Book, Amell confirmed the split at the Heroes and Villains Fest in New Jersey last weekend and said Oliver is to blame for the engagement ending.
"The fact is, Felicity is not wearing her ring in that flash forward scene, and that was not a coincidence," the actor explained. "Spoiler alert, I probably mess it up."
It is possible that Felicity is going to find out that Oliver has an illegitimate son and is going to be upset that her fiancé was hiding something from her.
This could lead to her ending their engagement, at least for the time being.
Aside from Oliver and Felicity being on the rocks, Amell also hinted that Oliver is going to face off against Malcolm Merlyn in a fight during an upcoming "
He told Comic Book that Malcolm is going to return to Star City and get on Oliver's bad side, which leads to an all-out brawl between the two characters.
"We got the all-time end of an episode coming up where you're just going to be screaming at Merlyn," Amell said. "Plus John Barrowman and I have a showdown. It's a rematch three years in the making. It's pretty cool."
Finally, Comic Book Resources reported that the CW has released the official synopsis for "A.W.O.L."
In episode 11, Diggle is going to have to learn how to trust his wayward brother Andy again after an enemy from their wartime past pays a visit to Star City.
To further complicate the matter, Diggle and Andy's enemy is now a member of a shadowy criminal organization named Shadowspire.
Unfortunately, Diggle's efforts to stop this old foe leads to him learning more than he bargained for about his brother's time as a soldier in the U.S. military.
Meanwhile, Felicity is now home from the hospital and Oliver has to learn a whole new way of life.
