"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington recently denied the rumors about Jon Snow's return from the dead in a new interview.

According to Digital Spy, Harington claimed that he is not going to appear in the upcoming sixth season as the ill-fated Lord Commander of the Night's Watch.

"People didn't want me to die, but he's dead," Harington said. "So there you go, everyone has to get used to it.

The actor also pointed out he hasn't been on the "Game of Thrones" set for a long time and has been getting ready to appear in Jamie Lloyd's London production of "Doctor Faustus," which revolves around a man making a deal with the devil.

"I haven't done 'Thrones' in a while," Harington said. "I had a lot of time off last year. I've been taking it easy and relaxing. When I realized I was doing this, I had a few months to prepare for it, and something like this takes some working through even before getting into the rehearsal room."

Even though Harington denied that Jon is going to return from the dead, Watchers On The Wall pointed out the actor was spotted filming a scene from "Game of Thrones" season six in November alongside Sophie Turner and Iwan Rheon.

There is a good chance that HBO told Harington to keep quiet about Jon's return until they release a promotional trailer that reveals his character is alive or until the episode airs in the spring.

Aside from Harington's denial regarding Jon's fate, Watchers on the Wall reported that HBO released three new teasers for "Game of Thrones" on Twitter.

The first preview features Iwan Rheon as Ramsey Bolton and he claimed that Winterfell is now firmly under control of the Boltons.

However, there is a tattered Stark flag flying in the background, which could be a hint that Sansa and her siblings will eventually regain control of their ancestral home.

The second clip featured Jonathan Pryce as the High Sparrow and he is threatening to overthrow House Lannister.

The final teaser is centered around Daenerys Targaryen and shows a Dothraki khal mocking House Targaryen as a three-headed dragon banner burns.

The "Game of Thrones" season six premiere will air on Sunday, April 24, at 9 p.m. on HBO.
