Golden Globe winner, Jennifer Lawrence, is set to work with Black Swan director Darren Aronofsky, for a film to be released in 2017. As Variety reports, the still untitled project is said to "(center) on a couple whose relationship is tested when uninvited guests arrive at their home, disrupting their tranquil existence."
Variety went on to say that Lawrence has been Aronofsky's top choice ever since they started working on the idea of this feature, and she quickly agreed to play the part after their meeting about the film. It can be remembered that she accepted this project shortly after she dropped out of Richard Linklater's romantic dramedy, "The Rosie Project."
Although there is still no confirmation from the reps regarding the on-going negotiation, it is rumored that they are eyeing Oscar-winning actor Javier Bardem to co-star with Lawrence. Despite their 21-year age gap, Aronofsky is apparently convinced that Bardem is his top choice for the role.

If they end up starring together, this would not be Lawrence's first time teaming up with an older co-star. She has been romantically paired with older men like Bradley Cooper in "Serena" and "Silver Linings Playbook," Christian Bale, "American Hustle," and just recently, Edgar Ramirez in "Joy."
