"Kate Plus 8" star Kate Gosselin has had a tempestuous relationship with ex-husband Jon Gosselin since the two formally split in 2009 and apparently things are still tense as the father of eight revealed 'I rarely see all my children at once."
Jon Gosselin shared this new and startling information about his current situation with both his children and ex-wife during an appearance on "The Steve Harvey Show."
The former reality TV star shared some information about his family's current and delicate situation in an interview with Harvey.
In a segment titled" Where Are They Now?" Gosselin revealed that he rarely sees all eight of his children at once.
"Most of the time I get four. I haven't seen all of my kids together in about three years. I only get what I get ... I pull to the gate, and whoever comes down the driveway, that's who I get. I'm not privy to any information, I don't know who I'm going to get," he revealed.
Gosselin, who has held down jobs working in construction and now works as a DJ to support himself, revealed that he lost everything when he walked away from his contract with TLC as the family was filming their reality series, "Jon & Kate Plus 8."
In leaving the show, Jon Gosselin was in breach of contract.
"I lost all my money. I lost everything," he said of leaving both his wife and their steady income as a couple.
"It's not like a normal job like you want to work at the Burger King down the street or whatever, and you quit," Gosselin revealed to Harvey.
"Even to get a day off, it just doesn't happen," he clarified.
Jon Gosselin then revealed that TLC attempted to keep the couple together to keep the show on the air, despite the fact that their relationship was unraveling.
The original premise of the program was aborted and retooled under the current title, "Kate Plus 8."
