Pippa Middleton has added another sporting event to her long list of athletic accomplishments. The 32-year-old socialite completed the world’s longest downhill skiing race, the Inferno, in Murren, Switzerland this weekend.
She placed 67th out of 105 participants in her category, completing the race in 12 minutes and 28 seconds. It was the final event of a four-day challenge, and Pippa also participated in cross country skiing and slalom events.
For the event, Pippa wore a purple jumpsuit with a spiderweb pattern, writes the Daily Mail.
"For her it was a really positive result and she was really, really happy to finish the race," Inferno spokesperson Sam Bichsel told People. "She did really good!"
"She was a little bit nervous at the start because it was the first time she has done a race like this," he added.
"It's one of the hardest races you can do in the alpine sport, almost 15 kilometers downhill and a little bit uphill, too – it's not easy."
Bichsel said Pippa will probably be celebrating: "There is a big party for all the participants, and she is with a large group of people from Great Britain, so I'm sure she will have a nice party!"
Pippa has previously completed swimming, cycling and running events, often with her brother James Middleton or her new boyfriend James Matthews.
