There were a lot of ups and downs on the last season of “The Bachelorette” with Kaitlyn Bristowe, who eliminated Ben Higgins during the sixth week of the season. Now that Bristowe finally picked her fiancé, Higgins gets to be the new bachelor in Season 20.
The first episode of “The Bachelor” finally aired on Jan. 4 and viewers were introduced to all of the contestants fighting to win Higgins’ heart.
Fans have been tuning in every week to watch Higgins get to know the women in the house, but some viewers are seeing things that Higgins isn't seeing as far as the contestants' behavior.
Throughout the season so far, fans have been wondering why Higgins hasn’t sent home Olivia yet, as her behavior has become increasingly erratic over the course of the first four episodes. Although she received the first impression rose in the premiere, Higgins has been getting frustrated by her antics, which include complaining to him about how she hates her legs just after two people close to him died and jumping out of a cake in front of a live audience in Las Vegas and calling it her talent.
The ladies have had enough of Olivia’s antics, and it seems like fans might actually finally see her go home. In a promo for Monday’s episode, Higgins admits that he “needs to say goodbye” to someone, but is he talking about Olivia?
The contestants are over Olivia’s antics, with Leah saying, “She’s definitely acting more erratic,” while one of the twins adds, “She bullies all of us girls!”
Aside from all the Olivia drama, “The Bachelor” star made an appearance on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” on Tuesday and admitted that the whole idea of being with more than one lady in one night was pretty uncomfortable.
“Honestly, it’s kind of an interesting part of doing that experience is you are kissing multiple people in night. And I’ll never say I haven’t done that. It’s documented now,” said Higgins. “But it does kind of mess with your mind a little but sometimes because you are with somebody and you enjoy that moment, and then you get up and walk to the next, and it makes you feel really weird.”
Higgins added, “It’s not something I want to get used to.”
While it seems like Higgins is that perfect guy, E! News gave him a chance to reveal all the potential skeletons in his closet during a rapid-fire question series.
The last curse word Higgins said? “Damn.” And his guilty pleasure? “Game of Thrones! Whiskey, Drake, nothing else.”
Higgins also revealed that he has broken the law before, the worst thing he’s ever done in a relationship and if he’s ever stolen a parking spot.
When being asked what the worst thing he’s done in a relationship, it sounds like Higgins is a very respectful man.
“I haven’t done anything where I’ve really felt terrible. I try to be cordial and respectful to a relationship as much as possible,” said Higgins before finally saying, “Probably getting upset over something stupid.”
As far as stealing parking spots Higgins admitted, “Yeah, sure! It’s all a competition.” And with breaking the law, he admits to “J-walking sometimes. And I’ve sped before. I’ve gotten in trouble for speeding.”
