Gigi Hadid recently broke up with Joe Jonas because of their hectic schedules, but is she already moving on with someone new?
Hadid and Zayn Malik, who also broke off his engagement with Perrie Edwards, have been spotted out together a variety of times. They were spotted holding hands while on a dinner date, and even posted their first Instagram picture together earlier in December.
Now, Malik and Hadid take their relationship to the next level in his new music video, “Pillowtalk.”
Malik has ventured out on a solo career and finally released his single, which he claimed to be “dirty and raw.” The song has F-bombs and heavy beats with a more R&B-influenced sound. The song is a part of his upcoming album, “Mind Of Mine,” and although the music video shows Malik and Hadid getting close, he remains tight-lipped about their relationship, saying that they’re “good friends.”
In the music video, Malik and Hadid navigate a kaleidoscopic paradise and war zone, where they make out, make up and cry black tears as Malik sings, “So we’ll piss off the neighbors/In the place that feels the tears/ The place to lose your fears/ Yeah, reckless behavior/ A place that is so pure, so dirty and raw/ Be in the bed all day, bed all day, bed all day/ F***ing you, and fighting on/ It’s our paradise and it’s out war zone.”
During an interview with Sunday Times Culture, Malik explained, “I think I’m pretty black and white about what it’s about. Everybody has sex, and it’s something people wanna hear about. It’s part of everybody’s life, a very big part of life! And you don’t wanna sweet it under the carpet. it has to be talked about.”
Even though Malik and Hadid have shown countless amounts of affection towards each other in public and on social media, neither of them have declared their relationship official.
“Gigi and Zayn are spending the special occasion together,” said a source to E! News last week of the former One Direction member’s birthday. “Gigi loves birthdays, so she is happy she can be there to celebrate with him.”
“Gigi and Zayn have been hanging out more and more lately, but they are not ready to announce to the public that they are an exclusive couple just yet, even though they have made it official between each other,” said the source. “They want to keep their private life as private as they can. They were friends first and it has turned into more of a relationship at this point.”
