The 2016 Oscars have come and gone, but we're still obsessing over all of the jaw dropping moments that happened throughout the night.
There were plenty of moments throughout the 88th Annual Academy Awards that had us hanging off the edge of our seats, especially those last few moments of the show while we were waiting for Leonardo DiCaprio to take home the Oscar for Best Actor.

6. Chris Rock raises over $65,000 for his daughters' Girl Scout troop: If there's one time of the year we look forward too, it's Girl Scout cookie time. So when Oscars host Chris Rock got a Los Angeles based Girl Scout chapter to come out and haggle Hollywood stars for cookie donations, we were all about it. Even though there were tons of high rollers in the room, we can't say we were expecting Rock to raise over $65,000 for his daughter's cookie sales! We can't begin to imagine how many Thin Mint cookies that adds up too.

5. Brie Larson wins Best Actress: We were rooting for Brie Larson to take home the 2016 Oscar for Best Actress, and she did just that. We loved every bit of her role in "Room," and we were beyond thrilled when the California native won her very first Oscar ever.
4. "Spotlight" wins Best Picture: We just knew that "The Revenant" was going to win Best Picture at the 2016 Oscars, especially after the way the film cleaned up at the Golden Globes. But much to our surprise, Tom McCarthy directed film took home the award for Best Picture. Although our predictions were wrong, we definitely agree that the movie starring Michael Keaton, Mark Ruffalo and Rachel McAdam's was more than worthy of an award.

3. Vice President Joe Biden appearance: It's not everyday we get to see our congressional leaders rubbing elbows with Hollywood's elite. So imagine our surprise when the VP of the United States hit the stage to announce none other than Lady Gaga's stellar performance of "Til it Happens to You." We know that Vice President Biden is just as busy as the POTUS, but we love getting to see him take a break from helping run the country to give viewers a rare appearance at the Oscars.
2. Chris Rock hosting: We absolutely loved every minute of the 2016 Oscars when Rock was on stage. Not only did he do a superb job keeping audience members and viewers entertained, but he managed to shed light on many of the racial and diversity issues affecting the film industry.

1. Leonardo DiCaprio's big win: We've been waiting a long time to see Leonardo DiCaprio take home an Oscar for the amazing work he dishes out film after film, and finally the gorgeous actor got the recognition he deserved for his role in the movie, "The Revenant." Hopefully it won't take the Hollywood heartthrob five more nominations for the Academy to award him for his incredible talent.
