"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 has returned, and it was as heart-racing as promised.
Meredith (Ellen Pompeo) was attacked by a patient named Lou, who became hyper-aggressive after having a seizure. Everyone came to Meredith's rescue except for her sister-in-law Amelia (Caterina Scorsone), who was so shocked by what happened that she wasn't able to come to Meredith right away. She would always look after Meredith from outside the latter's room, though.
The two had a rift before the show's mid-season break, and it appears that they won't be patching things up anytime soon.
Amelia resented Meredith for being able to see Derek (Patrick Dempsey) before he passed away. The two, who were both mourning their loss, had a misunderstanding. Amelia asked for Meredith's forgiveness, but she wasn't ready to give it quite yet.
Meredith was, however, very willing to forgive her attacker.

Since the episode was focused on Meredith, some of the questions that were left before the midseason break were kept hanging. What April (Sarah Drew) and Jackson (Jesse Williams) were discussing before hiatus has not been revealed, but it is expected to be tackled soon.
Maggie (Kelly McCreary) and Andrew a.k.a Deluca (Giacomo Gianniotti) have been casually seeing each other during the season's first half, but things between them might be moving to a more serious direction.
Below is what fans should look forward to in the upcoming episode, titled "All I Want Is You."
"As the hospital deals with Meredith's trauma, Callie and Maggie perform a risky, experimental surgery on Alex's 15-year-old patient against his professional opinion. Meanwhile, Owen and Nathan are still at odds with each other, and Maggie and Andrew's relationship continues to develop on 'Grey's Anatomy.'"
