Let's get hyped! The KBS K-drama series "Descendants Of The Sun" is going to premiere very soon on Feb. 24, 2016.
KBS released teaser poster for the upcoming first episode. In the poster, the two main leads Song Hyo Kyo and Song Joong Ki shared a romantic kiss.
Previously on Feb. 22, 2016, the five actors Song Joong Ki, Song Hye Kyo, Kim Ji Won, SHINee's Onew, Jin Goo and more attended the drama's press conference.
At the press conference, Song Joon Ki shared that he sees "The Descendants Of The Sun" as a melodrama more than any other genres, Ten Asia reported. "Descendants Of The Sun" is Song Hye Kyo's first K-drama in four years and Song Joong Ki's first since he returned from the military.
Epic K-drama "Descendants Of The Sun," which is written by "The Heirs" scriptwriter, chronicles the lives of the young soldiers in a nonexistent country in Central Asia. The drama is a collaborative effort of Chinese and Korean production teams. Over one million dollars was invested to produce this drama.
"Descendants Of The Sun" premieres on Feb. 24, 2016, at 10 pm KST on KBS.
