After Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth officially split and broke off their engagement, the “Wrecking Ball” singer allegedly reached out to her ex-fiancé telling him that she was sorry for pushing him away, but unfortunately that didn’t bring them back together.
Cyrus had hopes of reconciling with Hemsworth, and now after two years of calling off their engagement, the former love birds have reconnected.
Cyrus and Hemsworth recently got back together, and it looks like they took their relationship to the next level. A variety of reports stated that the two of them already got married in a secret wedding, but it wasn't officiated.
For the couple’s real wedding, Cyrus reportedly wants a specific psychedelic rocker to officiate their marriage.
“Miley wants Wayne Coyne to officiate her wedding,” said a source to Hollywood Life, adding that when Cyrus and Hemsworth tie the knot, she “wants her wedding to be like a Flaming Lips concert.”
However, Hemsworth “isn’t sure how pleased his conservative family will be with the idea.”
“The more bizarre, the better,” added the source.
Cyrus and Hemsworth just got engaged for the second time, and after only a few months of reconciling, they held a “secret sunset wedding ceremony over the winter holidays,” according to Life & Style magazine.
A source claims that they “have told close friends that they’re already married. It was a spur-of-the-moment. Now they both refer to each other as ‘my wife’ or ‘my husband.’”
It was reportedly all Hemsworth’s idea to get married while Cyrus visited him in Australia in December. He thought they might as well avoid another long engagement and just get married as soon as possible.
“He corralled his brothers and tipped them off that he wanted to stage a surprise ceremony during Miley’s visit,” said the source, adding that Cyrus was “all in” with the plan.
Elsa Pataky was apparently the “unofficial matron of honor,” and she gave Cyrus a “simple frock” before she got married. However, one thing that was missing from the wedding was Hemsworth’s parents.
“Liam choked up as he began describing his love for Miley,” said the source. “Then Miley started crying, too. It was very emotional.”
After exchanging vows, “Liam asked everyone in his family to a candle,” and they “lit each one, saying it represented the eternal flame of their love.” Then the lovebirds slipped on “wedding bands that had been fashioned from palm fronds.”
However, the two aren’t legally married, but the source confirms that “they are aiming to make it official in March.”
