Cynthia Bailey is making sure her voice is heard.
On Tuesday, The "Real Housewives of Atlanta" star sat down with KTLA to discuss season eight of the Bravo reality series.
The hosts of KTLA first pointed out that, despite being quieter on previous seasons, she was involved in quite a few fights on season eight. Cynthia did explain why she thought she was involved in more drama this year than in years past.
"I've been nice for a long time," Cynthia joked. "You don't want to poke a sleeping bear, just leave me alone."
She added, "I'm going through a lot, it was a tough season for me. I was dealing with marital issues, I'm launching my Cynthia Bailey Eyewear line, I'm busy. Let me be!"
Cynthia also further explained her marital issues, and she gave an update as to how she and husband Peter Thomas are doing today.
"We're hanging in there. Marriage is tough," Cynthia explained. "Marriage and reality TV, that just makes it way more tough than it is."
One other reason why season eight was so difficult for Cynthia was due to her drama with Kenya Moore. She and Kenya first fought over Cynthia choosing Kim Fields to director her Cynthia Bailey Eyewear commercial, rather than Kenya. They then fought again, after Cynthia felt the need to choose between Kenya and Nene Leakes as to who her true best friend was.
Cynthia was asked to reveal which lady she chose as her best friend, and she also revealed her thoughts on this fight.
"That is the million dollar question, so you guys gotta tune in to see how it all plays out," Cynthia said. "It's pretty amazing that I'm in a love triangle about BFFs like high school."
"The Real Housewives of Atlanta" airs Sundays at 8 p.m. on Bravo.
