"Sister Wives" season seven continues to be plagued with problems and rumors continue to linger that Meri Brown will exit the series on the heels of her season six admission of unhappiness within the Brown family.

According to Radar Online, the Brown family reportedly continued to splinter after Meri Brown revealed she began an online affair because she was "lonely" and "wanted someone to talk to."

"Behind closed doors it's miserable. There's a ton of tension and no one is happy," the source said to Radar Online.

Meri Brown has voiced her unhappiness during past seasons of the show, citing her feelings of abandonment since her daughter Mariah left for college.

She also felt she had "little in common" according to her own admission during the show's season six"Tell-All" episode, with the other wives who still had small children and things to keep their days busy.

During the last official episode of the show, Meri Brown told the TLC cameras and her sister wives during a family meeting over dinner "don't be surprised if one day you find me gone."

While the other wives rallied around Brown, as well as husband Kody Brown, the damage was done within the clan.

They continued to put on a united front for the birth of Kody and Robyn Brown's child Ariella in January.

On Twitter, Meri Brown continues to post messages of discontent, leaving fans to wonder if she will make good on her words of unhappiness in season six as the show moves forward into season seven.

On Feb. 18, she posted a photo which read, "No one can make you feel inferior without your consent."

Another read, "Empowered women empower women."

The reality star posted on Feb. 7 a quote which read, "Freedom is not the ability to do what we want, it's having the right to do what we ought."

"Sister Wives" season 7 will premieres on TLC sometime in 2016.
