The latest trailer for "The Huntsman: Winter's War" is out, drumming up even more excitement for the upcoming movie starring Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, Emily Blunt, and Jessica Chastain.
In the trailer, evil queen Ravenna (Theron) obsesses about being the fairest person in the land once again. But when the mirror tells her that her sister Freya's (Blunt) daughter will surpass her in beauty, she thoughtlessly murders the innocent child without giving much thought to the warning given by the mirror.
"Beware: Should any harm come to the child, your sister will unleash a power unlike anything the world has ever known," it said.
The loss of her child changed Freya and she became an ice queen. "To escape the pain of her loss, the good queen built a fortress of ice around her heart. If she cannot raise a child, she would raise an army," the trailer narrated.
Freya's army is comprised of children, which included Hemsworth's Brighton. Throughout their lives, they were trained to fight and were taught never to fall in love.
However, Freya's rule will be broken when Brighton meets Chastain's Scottish warrior Sara.
It will be Brighton who will help Freya stand up against her sister in the end and put an end to Ravenna's wickedness.
Hemsworth earlier told Cinema Blend that "The Huntsman: Winter's War" will be far different from its predecessor "Snow White and the Huntsman," which also starred Kristen Stewart.
"This time around, there's a solid love story and a great relationship between Jessica Chastain's character and mine, which is the heart of the story. But it's a lot more fun, much more in the vein of say, 'Willow,' or something," he said.
"The Huntsman: Winter's War," which is directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan, will make its way to cinemas on April 22.
