The CW recently released the official synopsis for "The Originals" season three, episode 14 and it revealed that Aya is going to use the Strix to try to kill the Mikaelson brothers.
Carter Matt revealed that the official synopsis for "A Streetcar Named Desire" hints Aya is going to try to kill both Klaus and Elijah Mikaelson.
Apparently, the brothers were lured into a magical trap and taken prisoner. Once Aya has Klaus and Elijah in her grasp, she is going to force the Strix's coven of witches to move forward with a risky spell that could kill one of the brothers for good.
Meanwhile, Freya Mikaelson is desperate to save her brothers and enlists the help of Stefan Salvatore, Marcel Gerard and Hayley Marshall-Kenner. Together, the four of them come up with a plan to rescue Klaus and Elijah from the Strix.
Elswhere in New Orleans, Davina is going to move forward with a dangerous plan that brings her one step closer to reuniting with Kol Mikaelson.
The CW also released the promotional trailer for "A Streetcar Named Desire" and the preview revealed that the spell that is keeping the Mikaelson brothers captive only immobilizes their body.
Even though Klaus and Elijah's bodies are frozen, their minds remain clear and there is a good chance that the Strix will mentally torture the brothers by forcing them to hallucinate the deaths of everyone that they have ever loved.
Aside from the new synopsis, "The Originals" star Riley Voelkel recently hinted to TV Fanatic that there's a good chance Freya could be inspired by Davina and will try to resurrect her brother Finn.
"Resurrecting Finn is definitely something that Freya wants to do and thinks about at certain times," the actress explained. "He's there in her pendent and kind of there for her for a reason."
"The Originals" season three is currently airing on Friday nights at 9 p.m. on the CW.
