Leave it to Marc Jacobs to give a whole new meaning to the buy now, wear now most-talked-about fashion news of the season. At last night's show, among cropped feathered jackets, exaggerated silhouettes, and beyond chunky platform boots, Jacobs styled a look with a down parka, designed by none other than the winter-weather savior, Canada Goose.
The mens' parka was, fittingly, all black: Right down to the traditionally bright red and white logo on the sleeve. Barely unrecognizable as the puffers we see filling the city streets during wintertime, Jacobs topped an incredible sequined gown with the down layer, belting it at the waist and adding feather detail.
Here are some close-ups of the souped-up style.
Want to get the look for yourself? You don't have to wait until next fall: You can buy the coat right now (sans feathers and sequins; it's all yours to DIY!) at Barney's!
