Bipasha Basu was reportedly ready to get married when she was dating her now ex-boyfriend, Harman Baweja. However, she had moved on to dating Karan Singh Grover, and after being in a relationship for a while, are they ready to tie the knot?
Rumors of Basu and Grover’s wedding plans have been circulating a lot recently, and now recent reports are stating that they are getting married in April.
First reports stated that the wedding will take place on April 30, but now sources revealed that the wedding will be on April 29 and a big reception will take place after that.
According to Filmi Beat, the mehendi ceremony will be held on April 28 at Villa 69, a lounge bar in Juhu and the reception will be held at St Regis in Lower Parel on April 29. That morning, a Bengali-style wedding ceremony will take place and Basu’s Khar residence.
“Bipasha has even kept a wedding planner to organize that event to the smallest details. The invites will be sent to B-Town folk next week, Rocky S is designing both her and Karan’s wedding outfits,” said a source to DNA.
Sources revealed that Basu’s marriage rumors are true, but they both had to face difficulties in convincing their parents.
Basu’s father had an issue with Grover’s two failed marriages, his mom had issues with Basu’s past relationships. However, they eventually convinced their parents and got their approval to get married.
Now, reports are stating that Basu and Grover are set to get married on April 30. They will apparently tie the knot at the Taj Mahal Palace Hotel in Mumbai and Basu will be dressed as a traditional Bengali bride.
