While various rumors have been making the rounds about the relationship between Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift, the two have slowly become comfortable with making their dating life public.
The couple hasn’t been afraid to show that they are together, based on the the various Instagram pictures showing PDA. It looks like they're in it for the long haul especially knowing that Swift's friends and family adore him.
Swift has brought Harris around all of her closest family and friends such as Lorde, Karlie Kloss and her younger brother Austin, and he seems to have won them all over.
“They’re super happy together,” said a source to People magazine. “he gets along with her friends. They all like him and there’s no drama.”
Swift and Harris know how to make their relationship work, making sure that they’re not around each other 24/7.
“They’re not a couple who are joined at the hip,” said another source.” They enjoy romantic date nights when they are off, but both Taylor and Calvin have many friends they hang out with separately. Her girlfriends seem very important to Taylor.”
Harris has made an effort to get to know Swift’s family, including her brother.
“He spends a lot of time with them,” said the source. “He gets along great with Taylor’w brother, and it’s very obvious that her parents really like Calvin.”
Previous reports were stating that the couple is ready for marriage.
After their fun and romantic vacation together, Swift and Harris are allegedly talking about marriage. They recently celebrated their one year anniversary and seemed to have the best time ever while hanging out on the beach.
According to Heat magazine (via The Mirror UK), the couple’s vacation went so well that they are now on the verge of getting engaged.
A close source to the couple told the magazine, “Taylor and Calvin had the perfect holiday. They didn’t argue once and it really cemented how in love they are. It’s the most healthy and mature relationship Taylor has ever been in.”
“They’ve regularly talked about marriage and have even discussed having children,” added the source. “Everyone thinks it’s only a matter of time before Calvin proposes.”
The source went on to explain that the reason that their relationship is going so well is because Swift and Harris both understand the pressure of fame. They don’t argue about schedules and simply enjoy as much time together as they can.
