After a roller coaster ride of events full of drama on “The Bachelor,” Chris Soules finally popped the question to Whitney Bischoff. However, after various cheating rumors with his “Dancing With The Stars” partner, the couple have announced their split.
While Soules and Bischoff admit that they are still on good terms despite their breakup, however it looks like he is ready to move on and find someone new.
According to News Everyday, Soules is gearing up to feature on the upcoming season of “Bachelor In Paradise,” which is slated to air in August 2016. The rest of the cast has yet to be confirmed, but there are apparently some controversies that have already started.
During an interview on “Oprah: Where Are They Now?” Soules talked about his breakup with Bischoff, and the chances of his relationship being successful.
“The odds of marrying somebody on a TV show and having that work aren’t that good. It’s hard. We did the best we could. I have no regrets. I’m thankful that we can remain friends,” said Soules according to Bustle.
"The Bachelor" host Chris Harrison revealed some details behind the former couple's split.
According to Us Weekly, Harrison has broken his silence on the breakup between Soules and Bischoff.
“I thought they had given it a god and were going back together but apparently not,” said Harrison.
The TV show host admitted that he felt sorry when he heard the news that Soules and Bischoff ended their engagement after six months of dating. He also revealed that he texted Soules to ask whether he can help in any way to reunite the two of them.
On May 28, 2015, Soules and Bischoff announced their breakup in a joint statement saying, “Whitney Bischoff and Chris Soules have mutually and amicably decided to end their engagement,” adding that they split up with “respect and admiration for one another,” and that they would remain as friends thereafter.
As far as his current dating situation, Soules previously admitted that he is still single.
During an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Soules revealed that he is single and Kimmel decided to dig deeper.
Soules admitted that he is still single because “it [Iowa] doesn’t have enough range to get the cities around us.”
Soules recently tweeted that he is “Taking a much needed break from dating in Deadwood. Good old Bachelor memories. #TheBachelor #tbt.”
