Tiffany "New York" Pollard is thankful for her new reality series.
Tiffany and her mother Sister Patterson joined the first season of VH1's "Family Therapy With Dr. Jenn," in hopes of fixing the issues in their relationship. Tiffany has struggled with having her voice be heard, since she feels as though Sister Patterson is too controlling and overpowering.
Since the series has only aired three episodes thus far, viewers have not been able to see all of Tiffany and her mom's journey inside the house. However, Tiffany just assured fans that being a part of the show has helped her tremendously.
"#FamilyTherapy has made me want to live life on a whole NEW LEVEL! It's made me BETTER!Therapy is #beneficial," the former "I Love New York" star wrote on Twitter, while live-tweeting episode 3.

Tiffany was not the only person Sister Patterson had tension with on "Family Therapy." During the first episode, Sister Patterson and Dina Lohan, mother of Lindsay Lohan, had an uncomfortable first meeting. Sister Patterson had said she felt as though Dina had a negative spirit, which was an unusual experience for Dina.
"When Sister Patterson first was introduced to me, it was interesting," Dina explained. "Whatever she was feeling, that was what she was feeling. I don't know why. I didn't take it personally at all."
Dina also said she refrained from getting into a more serious argument with Sister Patterson, since she had to focus on her own family issues inside the house.
"I said, 'I'm not even gonna go there. I'm here to heal myself and not get in any confrontation with anyone that doesn't know me,'" Dina said. "I think she just needed to get to know who I was."
