Could there be trouble for a fan-favorite relationship?
Since the beginning of "How to Get Away with Murder," fans have loved the relationship between Connor Walsh and Oliver Hampton. The two went from a hookup to quickly falling in love, but there may still be something that will plague their relationship.
During an interview with Entertainment Weekly's "Shondaland Revealed," Jack Falahee (Connor Walsh) opened up about his fears for the "Coliver" relationship. Due to the secrets of two murders that his character Connor is keeping from Oliver, Jack explained that this could negatively affect the relationship in the future.
"He's not a bad person," Jack said about the character of Oliver. "That makes me really nervous about the 'Coliver' relationship, to an extant, because can you be with a bad person if you're such a good person? Or does it work, because you're sort of ying and yang? Is Oliver gonna find out and bounce?"
On the most recent episode, fans were shocked by another relationship: Michaela Pratt and Asher Millstone. At the end of the episode, Michaela and Asher had a drunken hookup. Jack discussed this new storyline, and, despite saying it was shocking at first, he actually really likes these two characters together.
"[It's] a very odd hookup that none of us saw coming," Jack said. "I kind of like the Michaela/Asher hookup, 'cause Asher's such a good guy. I mean he has a few problems, but he's a really good guy, whereas Michaela keeps ending up with these characteristically terrible guys. I like Michaela with Asher."
