R&B singer Kehlani is currently in the hospital after attempting to take her own life.
The 20-year-old has been at the epicenter of cheating rumors and has received a ton of backlash because of it. Unfortunately, the Internet bullying became too much for the "You Should Be Here" singer, because she apparently attempted to commit suicide sometime on Monday, March 28.
Luckily Kehlani's attempt failed, and the singer shared her painfully "low point" with fans on Instagram right before officially deactivating her account.
Check out the list of everything we know about what caused Kehlani's suicide attempt below:
1. PARTYNEXTDOOR ignited cheating rumors: As fans already know, Kehlani has been romantically linked to Cleveland Cavalier star Kyrie Irving since January. So when her ex-boyfriend PARTY posted a photo of Kehlani "back" in his bed, Internet trolls didn't waste any time dragging "The Way" singer on Twitter by calling her a cheater. PARTY has since removed the photo, but you can check out a screenshot of the image HERE.
2. Kehlani attempted to commit suicide: According to MTV, Kehlani revealed in an Instagram post that she "wanted to leave this earth" following all the cheating backlash. The singer shared a photo of her arm hooked up to an IV on Tuesday, March 29, writing, "I had no single wish to see tomorrow... But God saved me for a reason, and for that... I must be grateful... Cuz I'm not in heaven right now for a reason."
3. PARTYNEXTDOOR was with Kehlani at the hospital: While it's unclear how Kehlani tried to take her life, from the sound of it her ex was the one who saved her. In another photo of PARTY at her bedside, Kehlani wrote "thank you for saving my life."
4. Kehlani denied cheating rumors: Even though the photo PARTY initially posted looked rather suspicious, Kehlani knocked the cheating rumors, writing, "Don't believe the blogs you read.. No one was cheated on and I'm not a bad person." Despite being the target of a few harsh memes on social media, Irving has not responded to any of the cheating rumors nor has he hinted at a breakup with Kehlani.
5. Kehlani deleted her Instagram: Shortly after posting about her suicide attempt, the singer deleted her account.
