"Pretty Little Liars" season 6 has come to an end, but a lot of questions are still waiting to be answered. The final episode, titled "Hush, Hush, Sweet Liars," featured a lot of shocking moments, but the most jaw-dropping one was the revelation of the identity of the new A.
It turns out A is Mary Drake (Andrea Parker), Jessica DiLaurentis' twin sister. And she also happens to be Charles/Charlotte's real mother. So, when her daughter was murdered, she set out for revenge. She sought the help of someone to help her carry out her plan, and who better to get an in on the DiLaurentises than Alison's (Sasha Pieterse) then-boyfriend-now-husband Dr. Rollins.
Since the revelation has led to more questions, particularly about Mary Drake, Parker has provided a little insight into the character during an interview with Entertainment Weekly.
"Jessica's heart was in the right place. I think she was consistently trying her best to do the right thing," the actress said. "Mary, perhaps not so much."

Parker added: "She is definitely darker. Even in the looks, Mrs. D had her chic little scarves and her high collars but she was a little frumpier. We aged her up a little bit with the frumpy khakis. Mary's look is more current and edgier."
The actress also shared the character's motivations for wreaking havoc in Rosewood.
"Revenge, money, jealousy, love, vengeance, YES. All of it," she said.
While the revelation came as a shock to fans, series creator Marlene King says it has been in the cards for a long time.
"[We've had the idea] not since season 1, but we started talking about it when Big A, Charlotte, stole the game from Mona, and we started wrapping our brains around what the mythology of that character was," King told Variety. "Since the season 5 finale, fans have wanted to hear the end of the Charlotte story, but that's not complete."
King added: "I remember telling Andrea Parker that when Mrs. D died that we were going to see her for a long time so it was a few years ago that we really started launching this idea."
Fans can certainly expect to see Parker "for a long time" because the actress has been upped as a series regular.
More things will be unveiled when "Pretty Little Liars" season 7 premieres in the summer.
