Aishwarya Rai Bachchan recently made a successful comeback in the Bollywood industry with “Jazbaa,” and Ranbir Kapoor had the box office booming with sales with “Tamasha” after several failed films. Now, both Bollywood stars are set to create some magic on the big screen in “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” which also features Anushka Sharma.
We are slowly hearing some details about the movie, and it looks like some new details has leaked about the film. Director Karan Johar revealed that there are a few cameos in the movie, which includes Kajol and a few other stars.
Faward Khan, Imran Abbas and Saif Ali Khan are reportedly going to be in the movie as well.
According to Zee News, Kajol will be playing a small role in the film, which will be released on Oct. 28, 2016.
A few details about the actors' characters have been revealed. Kapoor will play a character named Amit, while Sharma will play Alizeh.
Now, Kapoor made a small comment about his and Bachchan’s role, and it looks like we’ll be seeing some romance between the two.
“Of course Aishwarya (Rai Bachchan) and I play each other’s love interests in the film. It is a love triangle, in a way. I’m just glad that people have liked her pairing with me. And I am happy that apprehensions have no been put to rest,” said Kapoor according to Filmi Beat.
Kapoor further gushed about Bachchan, saying, “It’s a dream to work with Aishwarya. I was an assistant on the sets of my father’s ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen’ (Aishwarya starred in the film) and I was so enamored by her - it wasn’t just her looks - but because at the time, she leveled with me and acted like a friend.”
“I still have that relationship with her and we are like friends. I can still tell her anything now, like I would back then,” said Kapoor. “We are still the same. There’s no ‘Oh, she’s Aishwarya Rai, the legend.’ I really value her as an actor, as a person and the star that she is.”
Previous rumors stated that Kapoor and Bachchan might do a lip-locking scene.
Director Karan Johar roped in Kapoor and the former Miss World to play a romantic couple in “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil,” which has a kissing scene between the two. However, reports state that Bachchan is refusing to do the romance scene with Kapoor.
