There have been several rumors regarding the relationship between Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif after they were spotted in Ibiza together. While the couple tried to maintain a low profile, the two have been spotted together sharing the same house, but it looks like things have gone all downhill.
Recent rumors circulated that Kaif and Kapoor officially split, and the “Tamasha” actor has reportedly moved out of their apartment on Carter Road.
Kapoor and Kaif’ split has been a hot topic lately and now that she is single, the actress is allegedly being followed. Kaif has reportedly warned photographers to stay away from her or else she will lodge a complaint.
However, according to Business of Cinema, Kaif is actually being followed by unknown people, who are believed to be “loafers.” Things have turned nasty for Kaif because of the unknown people getting into fights, which involved cops.
Now that Kapoor and Kaif are living in their own homes, it is apparently easier for her to get stalked by fans.
Although Kaif and Kapoor are broken up, they still have their upcoming film together, “Jagga Jasoos,” but things with the shoot have been put on hold.
Kapoor refuses to work with Kaif, but only on advertisements. Several major brands tried to convince him and Kaif to star together in an ad, but he refused and continues to do only solo ads.
According to Filmi Beat, a source said, “Ranbir has never done and will not do an ad with a Bollywood actress. The only exception has been Shruti Haasan, but she is hardly Bollywood. He has no problem shooting with someone from the South.”
“In the last five years, he has turned down at least 10 brands who have offered him ads with various heroines, including with Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone,” added the source.
Kapoor apparently feels that the product loses focus in the ad and everything becomes about the lead couple and their chemistry.
“So you will find him doing solo ads or with models. At least for now, that’s his plan but who knows what happens later! Priorities and people change,” concluded the source.
During her promotions for “Fitoor,” reporters asked Kaif how ironic it is for her to be single when she is having a big release on Valentine’s Day.
“Wasn’t it me who said that I am single till I marry? So we must always stand by out statements and as technically my status is unmarried. So, I guess I am still single!” replied Kaif, according to Filmi Beat.
