In the latest episode of "Jill and Jessa: Counting On," Joy-Anna Duggar was put in the hot seat about her feelings on courting, what she's looking for in a guy and if her brother's rules are too strict to follow.
Joy-Anna Duggar, now 18-years-old, was once seen as a rough and tumble tomboy, the only girl in a string of eight boys for Michelle and Jim Bob Duggar.
"I think it's really neat to see throughout the years [how] she's really changed and grown up a lot," Jinger Duggar said of her sister to the TLC cameras.
"Years ago, she would have been the tomboy out in the trees and climbing all over the place, never wanting to fix her hair," Jinger Duggar stated.
Joy-Anna Duggar said that she admits to once being a tomboy, but now she's changed and ready to find love.
"I think being the only girl in the middle of eight brothers, I was definitely a tomboy back in the day, I was always hanging out with my brothers," she said to TLC.
"But now I'm kind of getting out of that stage and trying to grow out of that," she continued.
Part of growing out of that is taking the next step when it comes to an adult relationship.
Joy-Anna is of the age where she could begin courting, according to Duggar dating rules.
But she might not have an easy time of it if her brothers have anything to say about it.
"For me, he would almost have to be a perfect guy," said Jedidiah Duggar, 17 to TLC. "And he would go through a lot of testing!"
"I think if guys come around, they're going to have to get through a few guys - [I'm] talking about me and [my brother] Joseph," added Josiah Duggar, 19.
Joseph Duggar, age 21 remarked of his sister, "If a guy shows up to court Joy, there will definitely be a lot of us standing back a little bit, kind of checking him out."
"Jill and Jessa: Counting On" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. EST on TLC.
