There's a new face coming to "Basketball Wives LA" season five.
As fans already know, BBWLA original star Draya Michele will not return for the upcoming season of the VH1 reality show. Rumor has it that her season 4 enemy, Mehgan James, won't be back either, which leaves more than enough space available for a few new cast members.
According to TheJasmineBrand, one of the cast vacancies has already been filled with DJ Duffey.
The popular L.A.-based DJ is friends with Brandi Maxiell, who joined the cast back on season three. She's been romantically linked to Drake in the past, and served as rapper Curren$y's official DJ and the headlining DJ at Amber Rose's first Slut Walk.
The newbie has reportedly already been spotted filming around Hollywood with her gal pal.
Although Duffey is new to reality TV, the Dallas native is very familiar with the life of an athlete's wife, because she was formerly married to New York Giants player Brian Jackson. The ex-couple share one child together.
However, Duffey may not be the only newbie coming to the BBWLA cast.
As we previously reported, "Basketball Wives" alum Jennifer Williams may pop up on season five too.
During a recent interview Williams hinted at making an appearance on season five now that she's officially a Los Angeles resident.
"Malaysia [Pargo]'s actually a really good friend of mine. It's funny because [she's] been like, 'Come on the show, come on the show.' And she asked me last year, and I was like, 'Hell no, I won't do it. I won't do it.' I recently went to brunch with her and she was trying to talk me into it and I said, 'I guess now that I'm back on reality TV it could kind of make sense,'" Williams explained. "I know people are probably dying to see me on 'Basketball Wives,' because I feel like the show was named after me because I was a basketball wife. It kind of makes sense, but I don't know. It's just kind of crazy because now I live in LA and now 'Basketball Wives LA' is the only one that's on. I guess you gotta stay tuned for that and we'll see."
No word on when BBWLA will return with season five, but the cast is currently filming.
