It’s no secret that Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor used to date before Katrina Kaif came into the picture, which is allegedly the reason for the girls’ feud.
However, now that Kapoor is no longer dating either of the girls, it looks like they still hold a bit of a grudge against each other.
According to Filmi Beat, Kaif is apparently upset with Kabir Khan for signing Padukone in his next film. However, Khan’s wife Mini Mathur took to Twitter to reveal the truth and put the rumors to rest.
“U are hinting about @kairkhankk & Katrina? NONE of this is true. Plus 10 for imagination though,” tweeted Mathur. [sic]
A previous reports stated, “The leading lady with the killer waistline is working so hard to find favor with her mentor - a film director whose three films have been her career’s biggest. In fact, we hear the director is among the very few friends she spends time with these days, as she is nursing a personal setback.”
“So when the director announced his next film, with the intentions of casting another female actor, out lady threw a fit. She’s furious with her friend and is letting him know just that,” the report continued.
Khan approached Padukone and Salman Khan for his next movie, she set one condition for the director before accepting the offer. She reportedly wants a leading role in the movie and doesn’t just want to be a supporting role.
The two actors have expressed interest in working with each other for a long time, and now it looks like it might finally happen.
Reports stated that Padukone and Salman were going to be seen on-screen together for Kabir Khan’s next film, which is allegedly called “Tubelight.” It is also reported that Khan’s name in the movie would be Tubelight as well.
