John Stamos was caught on video at the Netflix Studios in a NSFW tirade that was caught on camera. The "Fuller House" star later revealed the whole episode was a prank for April Fools Day.
In the NSFW video, Stamos can be seen shouting profanities at Netflix executives and their receptionist.
Stamos' freak-out was in collaboration with Netflix as a little joke for all the viewers of "Fuller House," which has just been renewed for season two on the streaming service.
A gag promo and trailer were posted on YouTube on March 31 for a documentary based on the actors life titled "John Stamos: A Human, Being."
The premiere date? April 31.
The incorrect date should have been enough to alert fans that this was a stunt in the making, but it didn't.
In the confrontational video clip, Stamos talks of how Ted Sarandos, Netflix's Chief Content Officer, approached him to create a documentary based on the actor's long career in the entertainment business.
"Who is John Stamos?" the actor poignantly asks in the video.
"What is John Stamos?"
Stamos then revealed he's a worldwide brand, a teenage heartthrob. He's a human, but he's also a human, being.
"Lights, camera, Stamos," the promo/trailer ends.
The promo later showed Stamos screaming at a receptionist at Netflix's office after he discovers that the promised documentary was a joke for April Fools' Day.
Stamos is seen cursing and throwing things in the video.
The actor yelled, "Netflix? This is just a glorified Blockbuster!"
"Fuller House" season one is currently streaming on Netflix.
Season two will begin filming shortly.
