New spoilers for "Game of Thrones" season six hinted that Daenerys Targaryen is going to meet Khal Moro, who was a friend to her husband Khal Drogo, and it is possible she will convince him to help her invade Westeros.
In "Game of Thrones" season five; Daenerys escaped an assassination attempt in Meereen by jumping onto the back of her dragon Drogon. He flew away to an empty meadow but when he left, the Dothraki captured Daenerys.
Emilia Clarke and her new co-star Joseph Naufahu, who plays Khal Moro, recently sat down to discuss the upcoming sixth season.
Naufahu told The Hollywood Reporter that even though Khal Moro is tough, he is still loyal to Khal Drogo and hinted the two were friends.
"Khal Moro's Dothraki, so he's a bit of a brute," he said. "But he's also quite loyal. He follows traditions very strictly. He's loyal to the living, and he's loyal to the dead as well. He's not as much of a chauvinist as the other Dothraki."
Naufahu added that even though Khal Moro is wary of Daenerys, he ultimately winds up respecting the Khaleesi.
Clarke pointed out that even though the Dothraki took Daenerys captive, her character is strong enough to overcome any adversity that comes her way.
"She's a Khaleesi," the actress said. "They can try to step up to this, but they will fail."
Winter Is Coming pointed out that set photos hinted Drogon was going to rescue his mother by burning down a Dothraki village.
If Daenerys shows the Dothraki that she is flame-resistant and can command dragons, it is possible they will unite under her rule.
Perhaps Khal Moro was a friend of Drogo's and after seeing Daenerys walk through fire unscathed, he will help her invade Westeros.
The "Game of Thrones" season six premiere will air on Sunday, April 24, at 9 p.m. ET on HBO.
