If you are a fan of Adam Driver, then check out our list of the four reasons why we adore his character Adam Sackler in HBO's hit television series "Girls."

4. It Allows Fans To See A Different Side Of Driver

In "Star Wars: The Force Awakens," Driver played the evil Kylo Ren who came off as the usual stereotypical villain in sci-fi/fantasy movies.

Even though Driver's character Adam Sackler was a jerk in earlier seasons of "Girls," he has matured a bit in season five. This new facet of Adam allows fans to get a better sense of Driver's acting skills and shows the critics that he can play more than just a stereotypical villain.

3. Adam Is A Relatable Character

Unlike Kylo Ren in "The Force Awakens," who has supernatural powers, Driver's character in "Girls" is a normal person.

Adam struggled with the same problems many viewers are facing today, which is why he was so endearing, even when he wasn't the nicest person during previous seasons of "Girls."

When watching Adam on "Girls," many viewers could instantly name friends or ex-boyfriends who have similar personality traits to Driver's character.

2. Adam Is Also Very Funny

Even when Adam was acting like a jerk towards Hannah and her friends, there were still some moments where he made the audience laugh because he was so socially awkward.

The Telegraph noted that Adam's awkwardness also kept him from being a self-absorbed character that fans would soon tire of watching on the show.

1. Adam Is A Complex Character

Finally, Slate pointed out that Driver's character is incredibly complex, which is why he intrigued so many viewers.

At first, Adam appeared to be a selfish, narcissistic jerk. However, as "Girls" progressed, the show revealed he struggled with alcoholism and is sensitive underneath his boastful persona.

Adam's struggles and insecurities make him a fascinating character to watch, especially since he is slowly trying to better himself and act more mature.

"Girls" is currently airing on Sunday nights at 10 p.m. EST on HBO.
