Fans were really shocked when Hazel E first announced she was leaving the "Love & Hip Hop Hollywood" cast. However, it didn't take long for the rumor mill to come out with claims that the reality star quit the VH1 show because she was pregnant.
At the time, Hazel denied being pregnant by her now ex-boyfriend Katt Williams, but fast forward almost a year later and the reality beauty is singing a different tune.
During an interview with VladTV, Hazel opened up on her decision to quit LHHH and revealed that pregnancy was one of the factors that led to her departure. Unfortunately though, Hazel said she never was able to let fans in on her baby news because she suffered a miscarriage.
"Last season-I guess in the efforts of being honest because it's something that I never admitted to-I was pregnant, and it got tricky for me. After ending the season with being pregnant, I ended up having a miscarriage," Hazel revealed. "I know that was a big thing online. They didn't know if I was or wasn't. When I got asked at that time I was not pregnant anymore. So I never lied about it. [Producers] kept putting me into hot situations and in that state that I was in, I didn't want the confrontation. So I decided to leave."
As for how her ex-boyfriend Kat, who's been in a string of trouble with the law recently, the rapper said he didn't take the news of her miscarriage well, resulting in one of their many breakups.
"It was actually very hard because we had to separate. He handled it a little bit different than I did," she said. "He was a little bit more disappointed, and I kind of needed a friend. But we ended up still trying to put it back together, and things are where they're at now. It's even worse, but you know, it is what it is."
While we're sure it took a lot for Hazel to come clean about her miscarriage, the "Say So" rapper has recently come under fire for lying about the pregnancy in the first place.
Despite admitting that she wasn't "pregnant anymore" when she was initially asked about pregnancy rumors, Hazel has still been battling harsh social media trolls for waiting so long to open up on her pregnancy.
However, the reality beauty hasn't wasted any time firing back at her critics. She even posted a screenshot photo of a past doctor appointment proving that she was indeed pregnant at the time.
