After Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth officially split and broke off their engagement, the “Wrecking Ball” singer allegedly reached out to her ex-fiancé telling him that she was sorry for pushing him away, but unfortunately that didn’t bring them back together.
Cyrus had hopes of reconciling with Hemsworth, and now after two years of calling off their engagement, the former love birds have reconnected.
Cyrus and Hemsworth have been back together for a few months now and it looks like everything is going fine between the two despite the breakup rumors.
Cyrus and Hemsworth continue to prove the haters wrong with their recent outings together, showing that they are still together.
The couple recently attended the L.A. premiere for “The Huntsman: Winter’s War” on Monday to support his big brother Chris Hemsworth. Cyrus and Liam didn’t want to draw in a lot of attention to themselves, therefore they didn’t pose on the red carpet together.
Cyrus and Liam quietly slipped inside the Regency Village Theater in Westwood Village, Calif., where attendees saw the couple looking cozy. Just before the lights flipped on when the movie ended, they decided to head right for the exit to avoid the media.
A source told Us Weekly that the couple was “hand in hand” on their way out and attempted to keep a low profile in the dark.
“They were smiling and looking happy together,” said the source. “Miley [was] looking adoringly up at Liam as he led her out of the theater.”
The source added that the couple was so slick with their entrance and exit that “almost no one saw them walk out.”
A variety of rumors regarding the couple's wedding have been making rounds, including the kind of ceremony she allegedly wants to have.
No wedding details have been confirmed, but the couple are taking their time to tie the knot. A source told People magazine that Hemsworth and Cyrus are “moving surprisingly slowly.”
“Miley seems to have matured a lot. In the past, she tended to rush things. She acts much more calm and happy now,” said the source.
Although Cyrus has been spotted with her Neil Lane engagement ring multiple times since getting back together, the two of them were recently spotted out together for the first time.
The couple walked side-by-side while they were heading over to Gracias Madre in Los Angeles to join Hemsworth’s family for lunch.
“Miley and Liam just spent a few days together in Malibu. Miley has been going back and forth between L.A. and N.Y.C. for the Woody Allen series,” said a source to People magazine. “She was happy to spend some time with Liam. Things are great between them. There are no set wedding plans, and they are enjoying their engagement.”
Despite the rumors of their relationship being on the rocks, it looks like everything is just fine between Cyrus and Hemsworth.
