"Mr. Robot" season 2 has been given a premiere date!
The much-awaited date was revealed via the second season's trailer. In the clip, Elliot (Rami Malek) is seen watching news clips on his computer when suddenly someone starts banging on the door.
At the end of the clip, it was shown that the series will return for its second season on July 13.
The trailer appears to be hinting at what series co-creator Sam Esmail teased about Elliot's challenges in season 2. The producer, who will also direct all 10 episodes of the upcoming installment, teased that forces of law enforcement will play a huge part in the continuation of Elliot's story.
"Now that the hack has happened, I actually think it's not just Evil Corp that will be, if you want to call them, antagonists of fsociety," Esmail told The Hollywood Reporter. "Now we're dealing with a much larger issue, and I think the law enforcement, in some way, will make a presence in season two, which I think is an interesting new group of characters to explore."

The release of the trailer comes a few days after USA Network announced its re-branding via a clip featuring unreleased footage from "Mr. Robot."
From "Characters Welcome," the network now bears the tagline "We the Bold."
"[The new branding was made] to allow people to understand the kind of content that they can expect from us," NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment marketing and digital executive VP Alexandra Shapiro told Variety. "Crystallizing our voice and point of view on the world is even more crucial in an on-demand world ... 'We the Bold' is the North Star for us as a network and a brand."
Catch "Mr. Robot" season 2 on the re-branded USA Network in July.
