One Direction and 5 Seconds of Summer fans are furious that Justin Bieber won the Best Fan Army award, claiming that Bieber was at the bottom of the polls and that the award was fixed to make him win.
Justin Bieber's "Beliebers" won the hotly-contested Best Fan Army award at the event over One Direction's "Directioners," Five Seconds of Summer's "5sosfam," Fifth Harmony's "Harmonizers" and Demi Lovato's "Lovatics."
The award, which was voted on by the public, was given to Bieber and his huge fan base.
But fans of One Direction and 5 Seconds of summer have cried foul and alleged that Justin Bieber's fans were at the bottom of the polls when they closed.
Reportedly, One Direction were in first place and Bieber was in fourth in the polls.
Fans took to Twitter to express their anger with the hashtag #iFakeAwards.

There has been no official word from Justin Bieber on the controversy.
One Direction is currently on hiatus until 2017.
Five Seconds of Summer are currently on tour supporting their latest album "Sounds Good, Feels Good."
Justin Bieber is on tour promoting his album "Purpose."
