Perrie Edwards may no longer be dating Zayn Malik, but her friendship with her ex's former groupmates remains. The Little Mix singer recounted an incident where one member of One Direction came to her and her friends' aid.
Speaking of a time Louis Tomlinson helped her and her friends out during a party for their successful performance at the BRIT Awards, Edwards told The Hits, as quoted by SugarScape: "I don't know what happened, but we got there and they wouldn't let loads of our friends in."
The singer continued: "They were like, 'no, no, it's full,' but we were like, 'it's our party.' So we ended up, like, walking down the street and there was just loads of people screaming at us and everything."
Edwards added: "Then Louis pulled up and was like, 'girls, what are you doing?' and we jumped in the car with him. Louis Tomlinson. He saved the night."

Edwards' statement comes a month after rumors started swirling about her and Tomlinson. The two, along with Edwards' groupmates Jade Thirlwall, Jesy Nelson and Leigh-Anne Pinnock, were photographed sharing a ride.
A source close to Malik also said that the former 1D member was upset by what happened, according to J-14.
"Zayn sent Louis a sarcastic message the day after the BRITs saying: 'Thanks for the loyalty' and asked him to leave Perrie alone," the source said. "He feels Louis is taking sides after their split, but Louis doesn't think he owes Zayn anything."
The source added: "Louis and Perrie have always been good friends, and she's been a good support to him. Louis had made it clear that he's got no intention of cutting her out of his life."
As it appears, it had nothing to do with Malik, who then just recently left One Direction.
