Harry Styles continues to make his break from One Direction all about a solo journey as an artist. Will he debut his first solo single before the band reunites in 2017?
The Sun reported that a senior music insider revealed: "Harry is done with One Direction. He wants to completely disassociate with the band and that includes any professional connection.
"His new team will be about launching him as a solo superstar by around this time next year so the work is starting now."
Styles has four tracks registered with ASCAP titled "Already Home," "Coco," 'Endlessly," and "5378 Miles."
It is rumored that one of the aforementioned tunes will be Styles first solo single as they were registered after One Direction took their hiatus.
According to MTV UK, Styles signed on the dotted line with big time US manager Jeffrey Azoff to officially make his first move away from One Direction and towards a solo career.
Billboard reported that according to a statement from Modest Management, Styles was no longer being represented by their company.
"We wish Harry the very best. It has been a real pleasure working with him...Harry is a total gentleman, and we know our good friend Jeffrey Azoff will look after him. We look forward to sharing some great wine with them next time we are in L.A.," the statement from Richard Griffiths and Harry Magee revealed.
A source close to the band told Billboard that "nothing has changed regarding the hiatus plans for the group, and all will be revealed in due time from the band members' own mouths."
The singer has also been cast in the new Christopher Nolan movie called "Dunkirk," alongside Oscar winner Mark Rylance, Tom Hardy, and Sir Kenneth Branagh.
Production on the World War II drama is set to begin in May 2016.
Styles will be a young man caught up in the evacuation of the French city of Dunkirk as a fierce battle between the Allies and Nazi Germany is waged.
Will Harry Styles make the break from One Direction during 2016 or will he wait until the band releases one more album before telling Liam Payne, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan he's through?
One Direction is expected to regroup in 2017.
