"Orphan Black" season 4 will premiere next week, and fans are understandably excited for what's to come. The people behind the show have kept relatively mum about the details of the upcoming installment, although they have teased a few major things about the new season.
The show will focus on Sarah's (Tatiana Maslany) journey to finding out the root of everything she's been going through for years. Apart from that major plotline, though, Maslany maintains that she does not know much about what will happen in the new season, and she prefers it that way.
In an interview with ETalk, the actress said: "I kind of like not knowing who's coming up though and sort of being challenged. [Co-creators] John [Fawcett] and Graeme [Manson] ... create characters we haven't seen already on the show so that they're always pushing and always challenging me, and I've loved that."

The actress added: "[They] have always been amazing in terms of allowing me in that room ... and collaborating with them, and it's never been like they've been keeping a big secret from me until the last minute and then telling me there's a clone."
The new season differs from the previous ones, though, according to Maslany, in the sense that she and the other members of the cast were able to prepare longer than they did before.
While Maslany cannot divulge information about new characters and plotlines, she has been generous about giving away a few details about returning characters.
The actress teased what Rachel will deal with in the upcoming season in a clip, saying: "Rachel, to me, feels like the one who's sort of stuck in the middle of 'who do I trust' and 'how can I use this person to get information.' And she's really in the most vulnerable place. She knows so little."
Maslany also previously talked about Cosima's struggle in dealing with Delphine's death.
