In the "Outlander" season two premiere, Jamie Fraser told his wife Claire Fraser to travel back to her own time right before the battle of Culloden.
Claire arrived in 1948 and was found wandering on the road by a concerned driver. She was then taken to a hospital and eventually reunited with her first husband, Frank Randall.
After Claire adjusted to life in the 1940s, she admitted to Frank that she was pregnant with Jamie's child. Even though he was at first shocked and angry, he eventually reached an accord with his long-lost wife.
Frank promised to raise Jamie's child as if he or she was his own.
Claire began looking through the historical records to figure out what happened to her second husband. Frank askedher to stop and soon requested they move to Boston in order to get away from the Scottish press that was convinced Claire had been abducted by the fairies.

3. Will Claire Ever Discover Jamie's Fate?
Even though Frank made Claire promise that she would stop searching for Jamie in the historical record, it is clear she's still curious about whether or not he died at the battle of Culloden.
Frank is not going to live forever, and it is possible that when he dies, she will resume her search. Perhaps she will even find out what really happened to her second husband during that fateful day.
2. Is Claire's Child A Boy Or A Girl?
In the "Outlander" season two premiere, Claire revealed she was pregnant with Jamie's child, and Frank agreed to raise the baby as his own. Part of the reason for his acquiescence seemed to be that he's sterile.
It will be interesting to see if Claire's child is a boy or a girl and if she manages to name the baby after one of Jamie's relatives.
1. Will Claire Be Reunited With Jamie?
Claire admitted to Reverend Wakefield's housekeeper Mrs. Graham that Jamie vowed to die at the battle of Culloden.
However, there is still a slight chance that he managed to survive the battle.
If Frank dies at a young age and Claire figures out what happened to Jamie after Culloden, there is a good chance she will go back in time so she can finally be reunited with her second husband.
"Outlander" season two is currently airing on Saturday nights at 9 p.m. ET on STARZ.
