It’s no secret that Deepika Padukone and Ranbir Kapoor share great on-screen chemistry together after seeing their steamy performance in Imtiaz Ali’s film, “Tamasha” and “Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani.” After a surprising breakup from Katrina Kaif, Kapoor has been flying solo, but has apparently been meeting up with Padukone.
Padukone and Kapoor used to be in a relationship before he started dating Kaif, but it seems like their spark never died. The “Tamasha” actors have been spotted together several times. They recently met up in L.A., where she was shooting for her Hollywood film, “xXx: The Return of Xander Cage.” However, before that, they caught up in Mumbai when Padukone was flying to Sri Lanka for her friend’s wedding.
After Kapoor broke up with Kaif, he has been in touch with Padukone, but it seems like they’ve been communicating as more than just friends. Padukone went directly to Kapoor’s house from the airport and spend some quality time with him.
“Deepika was at Ranbir’s house and they were talking on his terrace, but what surprised me more was when I saw them getting very close. They were laughing and being very touchy feely. Then I saw them kiss,” said a source close to Kapoor. “I know they have been keeping in touch, but I overheard them talking about rekindling their relationship. It’s obvious that they still have feelings for each other.”
The source added that Kapoor and Padukone have been trying to patch things up since he broke up with Kaif.
“I think that’s part of the reason why Ranbir broke up with Katrina. He wanted to make things work again with Deepika and he couldn’t stand the fact that she has been dating Ranveer Singh,” continued the source.
