"Real Housewives of Potomac" fans recently received some exciting news.
It has been rumored that the latest installment of "The Real Housewives" franchise would be renewed for a second season, but one star has finally confirmed the news.
During an interview with the "Hey Frase" podcast, Ashley Darby confirmed that "RHOP" had been renewed for season 2. She also revealed that she has been told the entire cast--Ashley, Gizelle Bryant, Robyn Dixon, Karen Huger, Charrisse Jordan and Katie Rost--will be back.
"They've told me everybody," Ashley said about which ladies will be a part of the season 2 cast. "I don't know if that's just being politically correct, or if it's, like, true."
Ashley also opened up about her season 1 feud with castmate Karen. The two fought over Ashley's husband, Michael Darby, crashing the girl's trip in Bethany Beach, Del. They also got into it over Ashley saying she wanted to get to know Karen's daughter, Rayvin, better.
Despite the drama they went through this season, Ashley did say she wants Karen to stay on the show.
"I just think she's so funny, so when I watch her, I'm not watching her as, 'Oh, I was on this show,' I'm watching her as a viewer," Ashley said about Karen's place on the show.
The first season of "RHOP" is about to come to an end, with the two-part reunion beginning this Sunday. Luckily, for fans, Ashley also revealed that filming for season 2 is set to begin very soon.
"I start filming in less than a month," Ashley stated.
