Fans are already looking forward to "Shadowhunters" season 2 but details for the upcoming installment remain scarce. To tide fans over while they wait, some of the series' stars have taken it upon themselves to share unique experiences and behind-the-scenes stories.
Katherine McNamara, who plays Clary Fray, revealed in an interview with InStyle that apart from the cast's great onscreen chemistry, they also have a lot of fun behind the camera.
"Dom is quite the prankster," the actress revealed, referring to Dominic Sherwood, who plays Jace Wayland on the show. "And I am more often than not the prankee."
Speaking of the most outrageous prank Sherwood has pulled on her, McNamara said: "The craziest prank was probably the day he decided to tape me to my trailer. Everyone came running with cameras to document the humiliation."

The actress continued: "And then Matthew Daddario — being the big brother that he is — came to cut me out. So despite Dom's efforts, I still made it to set on time."
McNamara says the pranks are all part of their camaraderie on set, and everything's done in the spirit of fun.
Apart from working together, the actress also shared that the cast are growing as individuals together as well.
Speaking of how their personal changes have affected their portrayal of their characters, McNamara told Hollywood Life: "It takes place over maybe a couple of weeks, but for us it was six months. So we're completely different people from where we begin and where we end the show and you can see that distinction. But it works because these characters go through a lot, so it does age them in a different way than it would otherwise."
"Shadowhunters" season 2 has not been given an air date, but it has already been confirmed that the next run will feature 20 episodes.
