(Photo : Official Facebook/Sister Wives) Kody Brown (C) is rumored to be withdrawing from season seven while his wives which include (L-R) Meri, Robyn, Janelle and Christine Brown work out their issues.

Fans of the hit TLC series "Sister Wives" will be unhappy to know that it's rumored that Kody Brown just may take a backseat in season seven while his wives work out their differences.

Since the beginning of the series jealousy has come to a head between the women, who have all stated at one time or another in the series that they don't feel they get enough time to spend with their husband.

"For me to be openly affectionate with all four of my wives works in theory," Kody Brown once said during a TLC on-camera confessional, as reported by Radar Online. "We want it in theory. In practice, it's not easy at all."

The longstanding domestic routine of Kody Brown was to spend one night a week with each of the wives, rotating through the week so each wife had some one-on-one time with their husband.

Throughout the series, Meri Brown was Kody Brown's legal husband.

But that all changed in season six when Meri Brown divorced Kody Brown, so he could marry her sister wife Robyn Brown in order to legally adopt her children from another marriage.

"In theory, we don't want to have jealousy at all. In theory, we want to be able to completely be secure with ourselves and our relationship with Kody so that when Kody does anything for a sister wife, we're happy for them," Robyn Brown also stated during a "Sister Wives" confessional.

Upon the series debut, Robyn Brown was still dating Kody Brown, and the series dealt with the challenges of the family attempting to make their unorthodox living situation work.

Jealousy towards Robyn for "upsetting" the family's delicate balance of power was the biggest complaint of the sister wives, who revealed in numerous times during six seasons of the series their struggles with jealousy towards their younger and newer sister wife.

Christine Brown once left a panel discussion during the show's season five recap after Robyn and Kody mentioned they wanted to have more children and had to be coaxed back to finish the talk with her sister wives.

Of the tough situation, Brown remarked, as reported by Hollywood Life, "It's hard to have all my wives sort of say, 'hey I miss you, I feel like I'm getting cheated on time.' We are good then, if nobody is really feeling like we have this huge abundance of time, I think we have met our capacity and we are going to stay with it the way it is."

In season six, the drama between the wives came to a head when it was revealed that Meri Brown had begun an online relationship with a man, Sam Cooper because she felt "lonely" in the marriage.

Meri Brown remarked that "I needed someone to be sympathetic to me. I met someone that had played on my feelings by saying all the right words I wanted to hear. And then one thing just led to another."

After all the emotional issues the "Sister Wives" have weathered the past six seasons, do you think it's reasonable for Kody Brown to emotionally withdraw from the family? Let us know in the comments section below.

TLC has not confirmed whether or not season seven of "Sister Wives" is currently filming.
