After losing her sexual and physical assault case to Dr. Luke, Kesha has been receiving a lot of support from fans and celebrities including Kelly Clarkson, Lady Gaga and Demi Lovato.
However, one star who really wanted to help Kesha was Zedd, who offered to partner with her to create new music, and it looks like she took the offer.
Rumors have been circulating that Zedd and Kesha are working together to create a new song after the DJ/Producer teased an Instagram picture of the two of them working in the studio together. Now, he finally revealed that they are, in fact, releasing a song together.
Zedd shared a photo of the artwork for “True Colors,” which will be a new version of the song off his 2015 album of the same name.
The image shows a wooden plaque with ornate gold detailing featuring a large Z in the middle with “Zedd & Kesha” written above and “True Colors” written at the bottom.

However, fans were wondering how the two musicians are working together since Kesha has a contract with Sony. Zedd went to Twitter to clarify how he is able to release music with Kesha amid her legal battle. “Just to clarify: We didn’t use any loop holes. Kemosabe/RCA gave us permission to release this song!” Zedd tweeted. Dr. Luke responded, “Thanks for the clarification @Zedd ...”
