"Twilight" star Kristen Stewart's relationship with girlfriend SoKo has been going great, and it seems like the two ladies are going to make their relationship last despite constantly being hounded by nasty rumors and gossip.
However, Stewart's chance encounter with ex-boyfriend Robert Pattinson and his fiancee FKA Twigs at the Met Gala recently seemed to have changed her mind about SoKo.
"Seeing Rob at the Met Gala helped Kristen come to terms with ending her relationship with Soko. She realized that she still hasn't found that deep connection with anyone since she was with Rob," an insider told Hollywood Life.
"He was like her soulmate and that's what she's looking for in a relationship. Hanging out with Rob, even for just a small amount of time, reminded her that what she's really yearning for is a soul bond. She's okay with holding out until she finds that kind of love," the source added.
The "Twilight" stars ended their three-year relationship back in 2013 after Stewart was caught having a fling with her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director Rupert Sanders, who was married to model Liberty Ross at the time.
Ross also walked the red carpet during the recent Met Gala with her new husband Jimmy Iovine. She filed for a divorce from her first husband in Jan. 2013, and their split was finalized in 2014, according to Us Magazine. She and Sanders share two young kids together, Skyla and Tennyson.
Due to their affair, Stewart and Sanders were booted out of the "Snow White and the Huntsman" franchise.
Her former co-stars Chris Hemsworth and Charlize Theron reprised their roles as the Huntsman and evil Queen Ravenna recently and starred in the reboot "The Huntsman: Winter's War" with new cast members Emily Blunt and Jessica Chastain. Unfortunately, the movie directed by Cedric Nicolas-Troyan was considered a flop.
