Here Are Photos From the U.S. Hello Kitty Cafe That People Are Losing

It used to be that you had to go all the way to Hong Kong, Beijing, or Seoul to check out a Hello Kitty Café. But now—if you're willing to wait more than four hours in line—you can visit the Hello Kitty Cafe Pop-Up, the first Hello Kitty cafe in the U.S.

Located in Irvine, California, the pop-up—a pink metal shipping container covered in Hello Kitty illustrations—is just as adorable as you might expect. And inside, the sweetest treats any Hello Kitty fan could imagine: mini-cakes, berry tarts and puff pastries made in the feminine feline's image, priced from $4 to $11. You can wash them down with pink beverages—strawberry mint lemonade, complete with a pink straw, for one—while you sit outside on the roll-up patio. Or, you could head into the AC to enjoy a hot coffee with foam and espresso in the shape of a cat's face.

Hello Kitty fans have gone gaga for the pop-up, posting images so cute and delicious-looking you might just be tempted to jump in your car—or book a plane ticket!—to try out the cat-shaped delicacies and pink-hued views for yourself. But thanks to Instagram, you don't have to. You can also get your fill here. Here are all the photos from the Hello Kitty Café that you need to see.
