Sales up at LVMH

The firm said perfume and beauty performed particularly well, and added that there was a “significant improvement” in Asian markets.

Sales in Asia excluding Japan were up 10% while US and Europe sales were both up 6%. Japanese sales, however, dropped 9% compared with last year.

Fashion houses within the LVMH group include Louis Vuitton, Céline, Fendi and shirt-maker Thomas Pink.
